Turkey Competition – Sunday Night Mixed Doubles…..
This seven week competition finished on Sunday, December 13th. The winners were:

Following the recent A.G.M. we have new captains for 2010. Our new Lady Captain is Gillian Fulcher and our new Men’s Captain is Shay Dolan. We also have a new Chairperson in Ciaran MacDiarmada. We wish them luck for their tenures as officers.
The major item of discussion in Any Other Business was the over-booking of the indoor courts for coaching. A working group has been already set up to look into this matter and will report to the Executive Committee at the next meeting.Indoor Courts…..
As most members are aware, the indoor courts have been repainted. We would appreciate it if they were treated with respect. Unfortunately, the courts have already been marked by players wearing marking black footwear. Please refrain from such activity in the future. 5 new walkway lights have been installed between the clubhouse and the indoor courts. The lights are controlled in 3 ways:(a) A time switch located in the bar area.
(b) An over-ride switch located in the changing rooms lobby beside the roller shutter lock.
(c) An over-ride switch located in the lobby of the indoor courts by the phone.Development…..
